Much the same as I have over twenty years. Why (fix) to modify the design if it does not change (bottom). The only difference between the old and the new model is that a switch in the lid, allowing time for water to flow into the device, then place the pot below. It also seems less expensive equipment now used.
The hot water at any time (except holiday a switch), so you can make coffee in about three minutes.
Real Nice Unit.

This is the second Bunn Coffee Brewer we have the first lasted 10 years. I would not buy another brand.

I have owned a variety of coffees and Mr. Coffee coffee type in the last 38 years, but I’ve never been a brewer coffee cafe that was as good as the Bunn home brewers. The more than 10 first one I bought lasted for years. I discovered that I’d found a new tank after I had bought another. As long as you clean regularly, they will last longer. A good hint for Bunn coffee, use distilled water, filtered or if you live in the city. Chlorine makes coffee taste bitter, whatever the brewer of coffee.

I just replaced my 13 years Bunn model with exactly the same. I can not think of another appliance that has survived to this machine. It was used daily (and sometimes twice a day) all the time, and still made a good cup of coffee. Finally released from a leak, so I replaced with the same exact model. As for taste, it is also the best. It makes much better coffee at my in-laws more expensive Cuisinart, and it makes it fast. There is a reason the best restaurants and cafes use Bunn.
An improvement on my new machine: the chip makers Bunn has installed a lock on the ingestion of water that allow the coffee to brew until you close the door. This prevents the coffee from start to shake before placing the carafe (remember how fast it is?). The downside is (and I am sure that a cost-saver to them), they expect you to use the glass carafe to measure water so they no longer provide you with plastic water Bunn measuring jug. I found useful for other things like indoor plants, water and measure large amounts of water (remember to measure extra large cup). I think new users will appreciate not having to store an additional device.
UPDATE: My 2nd Bunn is not built nearly as well as the first. Shortly after one year (warranty period), has begun to escape the base. The leak began when a small pool of water and ended with the inability of machines to contain almost no water. This flight from the base suggests a metal tank compromised, leading to the defeat of the machine.
In addition, the plastic started to crack around the stove radiates. The plastic under the spray head was also cracked in several places, spreads to where the coffee is exhausted. I think they do not make them the same.
Given my experience with the new machine, I would not recommend this product. I threw in the trash, and I purchased a Keurig coffee is great, makes one cup at a time. To date, more than 1 year, and no worries.

I used a Bunn coffeemaker for a long time and never have problems with them breaking or going wrong. However, if the strong coffee, or your own time into a real fine powder, or if you use decaffeinated coffee Bunn is too fast. It will last and make a mess. For regular coffee is great coffee. The coffee is ready in a jiffy.
