This is what I expected, and the size is sufficient for my use. I think I would be a “matte” finish prefer bright, but otherwise just enjoy.

After replacing glass Cup second or third, I wanted a stainless pressure badly. . . but it was difficult to justify abandoning the cash for one or Bodum Frieling. I am happy to wait, because it costs much less! The construction is superb and the piston is all metal. The design is easy on the eyes and does not seem sensitive to the slope. The bill is niet dribbling on the sides as described in a review of the 8-cup version of this model, it might be something to consider when deciding between the two formats.
