The steam from our coffee maker has left a white stain on our brown kitchen cabinets. What is the best way to remove this? Thanks for any help.

if it is wood…sand and refinish!!

try rubbing the spot with a paste of baking soda and water and a soft sponge. Or you could try spraying it down with straight vinegar, allowing it to sit for a few minutes and then lightly scrubbing it down. If that doesn’t work try to use the Magic Eraser cleaner…that should help but it could damage the finish on the counter too, be careful. After you get it off you may want to put something thin underneath the coffee pot to protect the counter, something like aluminum foil. Just be sure its not a thick fabric that could either easily catch on fire or get mildewed from the steam. Be sure to test a small inconspicuous spot first with anything you use. You don’t want to damage the surface.
